A little bit about me ✍️
Hi! My name is Alfredo. I am originally from Caracas, Venezuela. Three years ago, I moved to Madrid, Spain, and I’ve been living in this beautiful country since then.
I've been a student myself 👨🎓
My passion for languages inspired me to become a teacher. I’ve been learning English since I was a little kid, and to fully grasp the language, I spent a period of time living in the United States. After that experience, I decided to try teaching and earned my TEFL certificate. I was hired as an English teacher at a children’s academy in Madrid, where I discovered just how much I love teaching. This inspired me to teach my own language, too. I completed a Spanish teacher training and obtained my ELE certificate, and now here I am, thoroughly enjoying each lesson and sharing my passion for these two fun languages.

The idea of teaching online first came to me during a language exchange with a British friend. I realized how much we were learning about our target languages just by chatting in a friendly, casual way. That’s exactly what my lessons are like—casual and comfortable, as if you’re talking to a friend, with plenty of patience and a supportive atmosphere.

As you can tell by now, I’m passionate about languages. My native language is Spanish and I have a nativel level of English and I am also fluent in French. At home I speak English, Spanish, French and some Dutch and Italian to my partner.
I also love to talk—a skill that comes in handy as a teacher. Outside of teaching, I enjoy running to clear my mind, hiking, experimenting with new recipes, and reading.
